The most beautiful art in Italy? Ravenna’s Byzantine mosaics, of course

These Byzantine mosaics from the 6th and 7th centuries are a must-see on your trip to Italy. Naples is dirty, Venice smells, Rome and Florence are over-run by tourists. but Ravenna, Ravenna is where it’s at.
