New Friends in Mexico, plus a cool little cafe and bookstore

Hey kids,

In a post from August I told you about staying in hostels instead of hotels as a way to save money and meet interesting people from all over the world. Another great way to save money when you travel is to rent a room using AirBnB. AirBnB is a website that allows regular people to rent out a room in their homes to anyone around the world, and I’ve met lots of wonderful people this website. Here’s a video of my hosts in Mexico City who wanted to say hello to my students in the U.S!

Which of the GRAPES (Geography, Religion, Art/Architecture/Achievements, Political Systems, Economic Systems, and Social Structures) do you think AirBnB could fall into? Explain your answer in a post below. Adelante!

My hosts told me about a great cafe near to their apartment that is also a bookstore called Libreria El Pendulo
